… Mojave is probably the last version of macOS that will work with CS5 … The next OS will be 64 bit only and the list of my software that will no longer work is long and depressing. I guess I knew my days with CS5 were limited. Attempting to select the text tool or print causes an immediate crash, otherwise I get random crashes after about 3 to 5 minutes of work. I had to reinstall the legacy Java Runtime to get it to launch, but doing just about anything causes an immediate crash.

UPDATE: Still going strong with CS5 in macOS 10.14.2 (Mojave). Mojave seems to have killed Photoshop CS5.
